As COO for Interactive Pty Ltd my role covers the provision and management of robust and secure technology & cyber services to our customers that help them focus on digitally serving their customers.Founded more than 30 years ago in a Chatswood garage, Interactive is regarded as one of Australia’s original disruptors. Today, Interactive is one of Australia’s largest IT services companies and listed in AFR’s Top 350 Privately Owned Companies. We are a business with revenues exceeding $230m, supporting 2,500 businesses in Australia and New Zealand. Slipstream Cyber is our dedicated cyber security business. Our purpose is to Keep Technology Human, something that we live every day. I'm known as a great problem definer, who always brings a calm and considered attitude. I'm comfortable presenting complex ideas to Board directors, and debating technical solutions with teams. I love getting things done and having fun, although I've told there are times my sense of humour is best kept to myself! I have an Economics degree from Adelaide University and am an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. My technology skills are grounded in the wonderful Lotus Notes, and I look forward to a retirement job maintaining the legacy Lotus Notes databases that I know are still out there. I recently completed a post graduate certificate in Mobile Application Development, just to say I can build an app should the need arise. I am also a graduate of the AICD and look forward to furthering my skills as a company director in the future. In my spare time I love to spin vinyl, cycle, play bad golf and am a proud owner (and IT manager) of a beautiful Mid North Coast cattle farm.
