Mumbai, India

After graduating from University I took a 2 month internship with a legal outsourcing firm in Mumbai, India. I was asked to stay on at the end of this period as a permanent employee, and returned to the UK after 1 year with NewGalexy. I also worked for an associated business providing corporate finance services to international clients looking to expand in the developing world, especially India.Principal Duties:• Lead a team of 10 Indian lawyers through a project for a key UK client. My responsibilities included: setting achievable deadlines and thereafter monitoring my teams’ progress; internal training of staff for project; quality control work. I was also promoted to an interim management role for a new office in Pune, India which involved recruiting staff for our team.
