Lead Engineering teams in the UK, Japan and Italy and small groups elsewhere to manage all capital projects in NSG Group, covering all SBU (Architectural, Automotive & Technical). NSG capital spend about €300M per year, ranging from complex automotive assembly equipment design, to float line construction management.

Responsible for all capital engineering projects (new build and refurbishment, mostly on float glass lines) in the Building Products business line. Design offices in UK and Japan, running approx. €150M of projects worldwide each year.

Led the development and implementation of the NSG Group Sustainability Strategy and all associated projects and publications. Reporting to the Group CEO, and driving actions through chairmanship of the Group Sustainability Committee, a multifunctional group of global senior executives from throughout NSG Group.

Set up a global SBU to serve the growing solar energy market, with P&L primarily driven by the photovoltaic (thin film and crystalline) and concentrator markets. Led negotiations to close several contracts of over $100M value, while aligning NSG global manufacturing, supply chain and commercial functions to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
