Worked on multiple projects in the lab, focusing on research to develop methods for harvesting energy from tidal and riverine streams using hydrofoils.

H-Tech is as engineering club with humanitarian applications, currently working on a prosthetic arm for a local child and a motorized plow for a community in Gambia. I was the lead on the motorized plow design and 3d CAD model. I collaborated with a Gambian farmer to create a practical plow design that can be recreated on site to improve efficiency of agricultural practices. Through this club I gained experience in product development, project management, 3D CAD modeling, mechanism design, CNC Machining, prototyping and precision mechanical assembly.

At Dell I worked with a Serviceability Engineering team on Hyperconverged Infrastructure Products. My main functions were to test products and features to assess Serviceability and Usability from an end user perspective. I identified and facilitated product improvements to enhance end user experience and reduce service work load in the field by 676 hours. Also, I reviewed and edited technical documentation to improve their effectiveness.

At Sound Transit I worked on a broad range of projects within the Traction Electrification, Mechanical, Signals and Electrical group. I worked with the Mechanical team on various projects, including airflow testing of the emergency tunnel ventilation fans. I also completed analysis and testing to improve audio signal communication between trains with the electrical team. Additionally, I compiled and analyzed data to improve the light rail construction process. I gained experience and improved skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, working to improve user experience, technical and creative problem-solving, debugging and communication.

I worked on the architectural design of residential projects and gained experience on the build side in the field. I improved my ability to think strategically and creatively to meet customers wants.
