With this company I was in charge of Pre-cast installation and offloading as well as transportation and logistics for it as well. I was also in control of total site Crane Logistics for a portion of my time. I would organize the appropriate lifting equipment to the appropriate areas for the tasks they need to complete through out all different trades. At our high point we had 13 cranes on site ranging from a 30ton RT all the way up to a 330ton Crawler with luffing jib. Our high point on man power throughout the different trades was well over 400 men.

I worked for Kiewit on the New Portman bridge build. I was called in for my experience with post tensioning through Freyssinet Based out of France with many branches, 3 in France as well as dozens more world wide I worked closely with Freyssinet reps to install support system for the bridge as well as adjust it to the proper Camber. My prior knowledge of the system allowed me to make adjustments and fix problems on the fly. I was responsible for training at least a half dozen Ironworkers in the workings of the system and give them detailed knowledge on not just how to use the systems but how to address problems with the systems equipment as they arose.

Multiple Areas

For a several Year period I traveled around the country with a group of people doing Post tensioning installation for SNC lavalin. I did several LRT projects with them. This included elevated guide ways build with launching trusses as well as Balance cantilever bridges built with both launching trusses and conventional cranes. I also installed support cables for the bridge that currently holds the record for longest launched bridge span(Coast meridian). This project was unique and trick in that the towers for the support anchors were structural steel and not concrete. This made for a more detailed cable installation procedure as the tower itself would flex and move large amounts based on uneven cable tensions on both sides of the structure.
