Responsible for strategic planning and growing the future of the social enterprise by creating a strong business structure and developing two strategic external relationships with Western University and Youth Opportunities Unlimited(YOU). The YOU collaboration resulted in an agreement to share space and resources by locating the Impact Junk Solutions Office in a YOU space, thus allowing Impact Junk Solutions to save roughly ten thousand dollars a year.Managed thirteen underemployed team members, each having an unique mental illness diagnosis, and through clear performance outcomes and goal setting each employee developed new professional and personal skills.Completed daily operations such as hiring, payroll, invoicing, social media, local marketing, interviews, scheduling employees and junk removal jobs.

Provided support to the Vice President University Affairs on policy issues relating to the municipal and university realm.

Collaborates in the development of Policy, and Government submissions regarding the Post-Secondary Education Sector. As well as ensures the legal, and financial well being of the alliance.Intensified the governance and financial procedures of the alliance to ensure effective governance of the organization. Collaborated with three other executives, and five board members on the creation of a new policy book for the organization to ensure the long term well being of the organization.Managed the organizations four million dollar in collaboration with three other executives, and ensured my personal budget lines all came in under budget thus saving the organization thousands of dollars. Operationalized the recently passed strategic plan, which focused on increased student engagement, by expanding the number of students working in decision making positions within my portfolio.Represented 24,000 undergraduate students’ educational interests to municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. Specifically showed impact by securing $310 Million in funding for the addition of 20,000 spots at colleges and universities in Ontario, through collaborations with my peers at the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance.Excelled at issue identification by monitoring all press channels, social media, and student feedback to ensure that the student union was always actively engaged with the needs of students.
