Mechanic 3. Responsible for maintenance and care of steam distribution piping in manholes throughout the city of Boston. Responsibilities include, replacing small bore and large bore piping as needed, trap and valve replacement and maintenance. Valve repacks, PRV maintenance and repair. Shutdowns and turn one of large bore main steam piping. Fielding emergency calls for steam issues.

Servicing on-line leaks in industrial settings. Including line plugging pipe freezing and on-line insertion valves. Leaks include steam, boiler feed water, hot and chilled water amongst others.
