Consulting to J Sainsbury PLC as Capacity Team Lead, responsible for managing a team of 4 tasked with maintaining the capacity of an enterprise sized IT estate across all infrastructure towers. Working with the business to develop demand forecasts, aiding in the prediction of annual infrastructure requirements and generation of infrastructure budgets.

- Managing the capacity of an enterprise size, 1500+ server estate across a multitude of technologies including physical and virtual machines. Have gained in-depth experience in a number of monitoring and analytical toolsets.- Managing the implementation of an Application Performance Management solution (Correlsense - Sharepath) to monitor high profile applications and diagnose performance problems. - Effectively managing relationships across a multitude of suppliers working closely to achieve shared goals.- Produce major Capacity Plans on a 6-monthly basis covering both infrastructure and application capacity and performance.- Regular presentations to senior management.- Support cost reduction initiatives through the effective capacity management of shared IT resources.- Management of Capacity recommendations for Physical-to-Virtual (P2V) server migrations.
