Joined Centene, accountable to drive development and build an internal behavioral health division, Centene Advanced Behavioral Health. Serve as an executive leader, propelling the business to over 1000 employees, serving 36 health plans, and delivering services for over 25MM members. Provide Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace behavioral health products as a multistate Fortune 25 Corporation.* Transformed a poor-performing financial record for the organization into a highly profitable business, boosting profit to $70MM in 2021. Built a G&A model, ensuring that every $1 spent achieved $6 in savings for the business. * Co-led the integration of WellCare Behavioral Health following the company’s acquisition in 2020.Led efforts to establish national vendor and provider contracts for service offerings (Telehealth, SDoH, SUD, Psychiatry).* Increased Employee Engagement scores from low 40s to high 80s with a People Leader Effectiveness score of 98. Additionally, enhanced Centene’s Behavioral Health NPS from a -90 to +30 in under 18 months.* Implemented innovative employee programs such as DEI workshops, mentoring, book clubs, town halls, etc.* Managed CEO and Executive Team relationships across 22 states. Designed and led the executive mentoring program.* Developed an innovative social media marketing and communication program to target high utilizers, homeless members, and unengaged patients, increasing cost savings and improving member engagement.

Recruited to the organization to provide executive leadership and oversight aligned with Mercy’s healthcare initiatives, community responsibility, and Catholic Identity while building a behavioral health clinic.* Produced positive cash flow by developing payor mix tracking, improving front-end collections by 55%, and creating self-pay models in EPIC. * Reduced employee turnover and earned high patient satisfaction scores.* Developed and oversaw community grant programming around mental health, social determinants of health, and community engagement, in addition to developing strategic outcomes and outputs to align with the ministry’s role in community and population health.* Formed a physician and employee wellbeing program called RAPHA., launching the program across Mercy from St. Louis to Oklahoma City. Consisted of Meaning in Medicine groups, peer-to-peer mentoring, workshops and formation groups, onboarding activities, and crisis intervention. * Developed and trained 50 providers to serve as peer-to-peer mentors across the system, resulting in a national 88% satisfaction rate among physicians and a 76% “Trust in Leadership.”

Developed a new delivery model for health and human services in Northwest Arkansas that aligned with Mercy’s community and population health initiatives, supporting efforts centered on social determinants of health. Identified and executed strategic partnerships with the Arkansas Department of Human Services, University of Arkansas Medical School, school districts, health care systems, and over 450 functioning non-profits, mental health clinics, and private practices. * Secured over $5.2MM in initial funding to create the Center for Collaborative Care from the Endeavor Foundation.* Designed and launched community-wide intake and measurement of the social determinants of health KPIs, generating updates weekly to identify areas of opportunity.* Built a sustainable infrastructure by establishing a Board of Directors, hiring the team, and securing sustainable funding.* Developed and rolled out a new, innovative health and human services technology platform to connect 200+ healthcare and non-profit organizations in one HIPAA and FERPA-compliant record utilizing a single technology platform.* Created a community-wide benevolence fund called the Catalyst Fund with a 250k grant from the Walton Family* Foundation, training 1000+ providers and Board Members on the Collective Impact model.
