Nick graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in political science and a minor in history. He is a passionate and diligent researcher and has presented his work at several academic conferences including the prestigious Honors Research Conference at the University of California, Irvine. Nick loves to explore history through an interdisciplinary lense that blends his expertise in political science with his passion for the humanities and study of society. He has completed the UCLA College Honors program, which serves as the highest honor that UCLA confers upon graduates of the College of Letters and Sciences and has received several awards for outstanding research and writing. A number of his research articles have been selected for publication. Nick looks forward to continuing his career with Law Enforcement and the US intelligence community to further his passion for public service and community engagement.Nick has worked with the United States Agency for International Development as a Policy Intern conducting political analyses and developing written briefings for United States officials. This leveraged his historical analysis abilities as well as his political acumen to develop informed policy briefings. On the UCLA campus, Nick served in several capacities that allowed him to support the UCLA community; he served as an undergraduate representative on the Student Conduct Committee working with the Dean of Students Office to provide hearings to students accused of violating the Code of Conduct. He also worked as a Resident Assistant with UCLA Residential Life to support students both academically and personally as they navigate the rigors of UCLA.
