I lead the design of and delivered 12 products across all Modjoul product lines introducing ground-breaking safety solutions including an ultra-wideband (UWB)/Bluetooth forklift proximity detection system, a real-time location system (RTLS), and ergonomic monitoring devices. In this role, I provided design expertise and team leadership for the development/maturation of new technologies from research through customer implementation, leading the technical transition between early advanced development and intended product development. This involves collaborating cross-functionally with engineers across hardware, firmware and platforms as well as customers and vendor-partners to deliver comprehensive safety products.REPRESENTATIVE CONTRIBUTIONS* Lead a product design team of 4 to research, design, prototype and manufacture new Modjoul products. Utilized SolidWorks and other design tools acting as Modjoul’s lead mechanical engineer. Managed project schedules, aligned stakeholders, and communicated next steps to meet short product development cycles. These efforts impacted product scalability and program sustainability resulting in the delivery of 30,000 Modjoul products, a 30% cost reduction and 80% reduction in shipping costs.* Led the installation for 50+ initial deployments of products at customer sites. Developed and implemented standard operating procedures for future roll outs enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness.* Contributed to the creation of the strategic product roadmap. Built relationships with customers and became familiar with user needs and requirements turning the voice of the customer into actionable product designs. Responsible for the mechanical design, prototyping, and manufacturing oversight of all Modjoul products.Utilized PTC Creo and SolidWorks to develop new wearable charging units, belts, and attachment methods, emphasizing scalability, user experience, and modular design. This effort led to a 50% reduction in risky movements for workers and a 70% reduction in wearable costs.Created an RFID-based system for asset tracking and loss prevention, achieving a return on investment within just 2 months.Planned and executed logistics for deployments across more than 175+ warehouses, and leading teams in tasks ranging from product orders to marketing strategies, ensuring efficient development and delivery processes.

• Responsible for identifying and researching new business opportunities to present to the company’s leadership. My efforts ultimately lead to the development of a new business.• Responsible for creating means of production for the new product line. I identified suppliers, distribution methods, and end customers. I conducted research on necessary types of machinery and estimated scale of production. My efforts resulted in an accurate factory floor design, which could transform raw fruit to a finished bottled juice product for customers.

• Managed vendor and subcontractor relationships, where we negotiated material prices and labor. I also regularly performed calculations and measurements for large scale drawings, including overpasses and large portions of the New Jersey turnpike. This resulted in an accurate estimate for large project costs.• I was responsible for finding innovative solutions to bring down projects costs allowing the business to outbid our competition. My efforts resulted in landing two large projects.• Developed a new company system for drawings, allowing our team to more easily navigate hundreds of pages of blueprints. This resulted in time savings for both estimators and contractors.

• I led a team responsible for the design and fabrication of a fully automated packaging machine, which packaged products for Wendy’s, Burger King, and other global brands. Our prototype successfully packaged all products and automated a portion of the assembly line resulting in a cheaper fabrication process.
