Since joining CEQ in March 2023, Nick has played a critical role in delivering in Presidential initiatives, including the development of Phase Two of the Environmental Justice Scorecard, the release of Inflation Reduction Act-funded programs covered under the Justice40 Initiative, the first-ever White House Summit on Environmental Justice in Action, as well as engagement with the White House Environmental Justice Interagency Council and the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council.Prior to joining CEQ, Nick worked at Earthjustice, an environmental law non-profit, for 5.5 years as Climate & Energy Senior Program Associate and Senior Litigation Assistant, Clean Energy Program. Nick has also worked as a Field Manager and Community Organizer for Texas Campaign for the Environment in Dallas, TX, and as Policy Researcher at People and Nature Reconciliation, a local environmental NGO in Hanoi, Vietnam, through the Luce Scholars Program. Nick graduated from Rice University in Houston, TX with a double major in Political Science and Environmental Policy.
