Sonner is home to Raleigh Swimming Association, a year-round swim team with over 600 swimmers and a year-round swim lesson program. Serve as the CPO on record for all three facility pools. Directly manage all subcontractors and facility improvement plans. Work closely with RSA's parent advisory board on initiatives and long range plans. Coordinate lifeguard coverage and serve as the Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor for the coaching staff.

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area

Directly oversaw the management, servicing, and client relationships of over 45 pools in the greater Raleigh area. Led a staff of 4 full-time technicians to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety at each facility. Responsible for customer satisfaction and the completion of different facility improvement projects.

Served as the Head Coach for AAAA Men's and Women's Swim and Dive at Green Hope High School. The Men's team won the North Carolina 4A State Championship while the Women's team placed second.

Poole Family Ymca, Garner, North Carolina

Led and oversaw aquatics programming and the operation of the pool. Served as the CPO on record, Risk Resource Officer, and ASHI instructor for the branch. Oversaw the recruitment, training, and managing all 30+ members of our lifeguard team. As our branch's swim lesson coordinator, our 2019 SEER data placed our swim lessons in the top 1% nationally and tied for highest in the association. Was the Y-USA Lifeguard Instructor for my staff and ASHI AED and First Aid Instructor for the greater Poole YMCA staff.Member of the Aquatics IQ subcommittee tasked with rewriting our association's swim lesson curriculum and instructor training. Heavily involved with Poole's No Limits Initiative, gym programming, and adult sports programming.

Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area

Responsible for swimmers at the Taylor Family YMCA and provided administrative support at the Raleigh YMCA Corporate Office for the team of over 700 swimmers. Led YOTA's Purple Group (11-12 year olds), White Group (9-10 year olds) and Junior Competitor Programs for the Taylor Family YMCA. Monitored the swimmer's times and techniques and determined what they need to continue to grow. Designed practices and dry land programs to build on their strengths and continue to refine their technique in the water. At the Corporate Office, I performed a variety of duties that help the team run smoothly. I maintained swimmer records and information online, organized swimmer's birth certificates and awards, and compiled pictures and information to make a bi-weekly newsletter.

North Charleston, South Carolina

Taught two years at Chicora, both of which in 2nd grade. Both years focused on data and in providing personalized learning to the students. This included a mixture of whole-group instruction in all subjects, but a large emphasis on small-group and 1-on-1 instruction to make further progress in growing reading levels and ability in math. Designed "playlists" for students to choose in what order to complete work that was tailored to their individual ability. This gave the students some autonomy and input into their instruction. The differentiated groups that the students met in were based on reading levels, which varied from Kindergarten to 3rd grade average levels. The students read books that met their reading level and challenged them to grow appropriately. Their Math groups were determined by the specific strands that they showed as their strengths and weaknesses and varied bi-weekly.

Isle Of Palms, South Carolina

In 3 years as head coach, helped grow the team from 80 swimmers and no swim meet victories to 140+ swimmers and a winning season. Placed a strong emphasis on team sportsmanship by setting up routines and expectations, and another emphasis on swimmers being familiar with their times and ways to improve them. Was also in charge of data entry and frequent parent communication. In 2018, we implemented a successful Big Brother and Big Sister program for the entire team of 140+ swimmers. We finished 4th of 10 in our championship meet, the highest placement for the team for the past 6 years.

Whitesville Elementary, Moncks Corner, South Carolina

Taught departmentalized English Language Arts to two classes of fifth graders. Used and tracked student data to identify students' strengths and weaknesses. Met with students periodically to discuss growth and make plans to grow in 5 learning strands. Planned daily and weekly lessons for students to meet South Carolina's College and Career Ready standards. Conducted monthly novel studies that tied in with content they were studying in their other core subjects. Prepared for and administered the SC Ready and SC PASS tests.
