MT Landscaping and Fence is a new construction landscaping contractor serving the Gallatin Valley. We specialize in fence construction, sprinkler system design and installation, and custom landscaping.

As a Field Advisor for selected turfs near Seattle in Washington state, I am the leader of our people and our brand, responsible for ensuring we deliver on our promises as a company. My duties include:-Building and operating my own team of franchise managers-Recruiting and hiring on campuses throughout Seattle, WA-Organizing and facilitating large group training sessions several times per year-Working 1-on-1 with each manager on a weekly basis to help them achieve their year end goals-Field training both in groups and 1-on-1 events to spur the growth and development of each manager-Helping organize and initiate the hiring of all painters for each franchise manager, over 100 painters per year-Driving the sales skill and results of my managers to hit individual and team goals-Ensuring operations of the entire business run smoothly and that all customers receive a top quality experience-Directly overseeing completion of all warranty work-Closing the books on each franchise at the end of the year-Organizing and hosting social functions in the regionIn addition to the work with my team, the Field Advisor position also allows me to run my own College Pro Painters franchise, as well. My franchise is located in West Seattle. This role has been the most difficult and most rewarding position I have ever worked, and I'm very excited to continue building my division and myself into 2014 and beyond.

For two full seasons, I led a College Pro franchise in Helena, MT. When I was hired, I knew I could be successful. I never could have predicted just how much I could get out of the position.The College Pro Management Internship gave me the opportunity to own and operate my own business in a safe environment where I was coached and developed. I also got to benefit from the College Pro brand that had already been established. I was given a specific area that was 'my turf' and I was given the tools necessary to run my business. Within my turf, my duties included:-Marketing the business to generate leads-Estimating projects-Closing sales with customers-Interviewing and hiring my own team of painters-Training my team-Projecting future expenses-Managing operations of up to 6 crews working independently-Safety and quality inspections on every project-Ensuring high quality customer service and resolving any issues-Keeping track of all my financial transactionsIt was exactly the kind of experience I was looking for to build my skills, resume, and experience level. In addition to the business skills I was able to fine tune, I learned more about myself than I ever thought possible. I began to understand what true leadership is, I became a master of my schedule and my to-do list, and I learned how to manage my own finances in addition to those of the business.My key accomplishments included:-$383,819 sales produced-Platinum Award, 2012-President's Club Award with Distinction, 2012-President's Club Award, 2013-Century Club Award, 2012 and 2013-Manager of the Year, 2012-Over 110 projects completed-95% customer satisfaction-Led over 35 employees-Developed 2 future franchise managers-Promotion to Field Advisor for 2014
