I worked on Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). I was part of the founding team, and have since worked on many areas around EKS including the Kubernetes control plane, Kubernetes releases, and identity and access management (authentication and authorization). I also contribute to the cloud native open source ecosystem. Most recently, I was a founding member and TL of the EKS Auth team which launched Cluster Access Management, an API for cluster authentication.

• Built deployment and configuration tooling for a Docker, Kubernetes microservice environment, mostly in Python and Go.

• Stabilized and expanded production environment running on Kubernetes, Docker.• Migrated website consisting of approximately 40 microservices from AWS to GCP and GKE (Google Container Engine).

• Designed and developed Java web services with SQL backend to provide remote firmware upgrades for medical devices.• Created devops environment using Chef, Vagrant, Docker.• Built Python web service in an embedded linux environment.

• Architected a SQL database and user interface providing researchers with a streamlined data input system and graphical display.
