After a 10-year career in logistics I've prepared to make a career switch.I left everything behind and moved to Hilversum to study the art of tailoring.The studies contained a lot of traditional tricks of the trade but also learning everything I needed to know about all different kinds of fabrics, how to design on paper and computer and guidance throughout the whole process about how to start up your own successful label/shop.

I've mostly been working for a big client that specializes in healthcare. I managed the department that handles all the mobile telephony and tablet business. The activities variate from supplying hardware for all of the employees of the company up to providing help and support on hardware and software issues. Also projects like cleaning up the database, organizing and channelling big hardware replacements and researching future products were part of the job. Some Extra activities were managing the orders for all the hardware, managing hardware reparations and solving mobile issues problems indoor and outdoor.

For 3 years I was working as a assistant planner for a big client in Europe. The activities were amongst others; accept supplier-orders, finding the right carrier, making sure that the goods are delivered on the right place at the right time and solve all the problems that can come along in the process.

At Geodis I learned a lot and made big steps regarding career, experience and knowledge. I started on the floor as a production employee, but worked myself up to the Stock Control department, working as a Project Employee and VAS Operator. The 2 biggest job functions were working as a Project Employee (preparing the warehouse for a new customer, receiving and checking the goods, going live for the first time and solving all problems during the process) and working as an Operator at the VAS department (preparing the orders for the department, releasing and checking them in time, planning floor space, solving stock issues and other problems)
