Following the recent acquisition of CP Kelco’s CMC business by Nouryon I have been responsible for combining both CMC sales organisations. The combined business has over Eur160M sales.

Led Sales & Marketing team (20FTE) promoting Cellulose Gum (CMC) across a range of applications (Food, Beverage, Pharma, Paper, Detergents, etc) as part of a turnaround strategy. This included developing and actioned a Food & Beverage Strategy, establishing long term supplier agreements with Key accounts, introducing new products and concepts across various applications and markets.

My responsibilities included negotiating multi-year agreements across a variety of applications (e.g. detergents, personal care, paper etc) and putting in place licensing agreement. Also cross functional coordination for product development and innovation.

Built on the success of setting up a new team and grew the business to $80M T/O. Member of the EMEA Management team and also the UK office Manager

Successfully combined two teams (paper & consumer/industrial) to form the CI&P team (6FTE) for the developed part of EMEA. $73M T/O business across a range of applications.

Responsible growing the business $15M to $18M with a variety of customers in different applications such as pharma, ostomy, detergents, etc. Covering Scandinavia, UK & Ireland, South Africa and Israel.

Responsible for sales and development through distributor partners in UK, Ireland and Baltic region. Team member involved with the rationalisation of the EMEA Distributor network. Covered most markets - food, detergent, pharma, personal care etc.

Managed an $8M portfolio of customers in beverages, bakery, desserts, blends, food service etc. Distributor manager and also provided technical support & training for customers.

Product manager with portfolio of flavours, enzymes, emulsifiers, glycerine, encapsulates etc. Provided technical and application support for customers.

Troubleshooting for customers and providing applications support using a range of fermented and naturally derived hydrocolloids (xanthan, alginate, gellan, etc). Provided applications support for development of algae fermented DHA oil.Light microscopist for the Applications Lab.
