I'm Nicolas Walsh, a Marketing major at Pennsylvania State University, driven by the goal of making a positive marketing impact. My passion lies in Sales, Brand Strategy, Marketing, and Analytics, where I aim to enhance businesses and lives. I also hold a passion for law in the business landscape as I am minoring in Legal Environment of Business.At Penn State, I've actively participated in Alpha Delta Phi, a social fraternity, where I've held leadership roles as the Social Chair, Judicial Standards Board, and the Secretary. These experiences have helped me develop strong organizational and leadership skills.Additionally, I'm a dedicated member of Penn State Prime, a student-run marketing organization in the Smeal College of Business. Through this organization, I've gained valuable firsthand experience working on the agency side in a practicum project with L’Oréal. This experience has allowed me to apply knowledge in a practical setting, developing both hard and soft skills crucial for a successful marketing career.In my Sales Management Internship at PepsiCo, I acquired skills in sales and upselling, resulting in the sale of 2000+ cases and 15 incremental displays. I enhanced my interpersonal communication skills by fostering relationships with a wide array of customers and attending to their unique needs. I also completed a summer-long project to grow Gatorade in small format and independent grocery stores, further developing my industry knowledge and understanding of teamwork in a fast-paced environment.Beyond academics and fraternity life, I advocate for sustainability and community engagement, believing in the power of marketing to create positive change.
