Previously I worked in Customer Service in telecommunications for over 9 years, with both Time Warner Cable, and Spectrum where I successfully navigated and was promoted through various departments and responsibilities for both companies. During my tenure with Spectrum, I gained experience in multiple departments - including Sales, Billing, and Customer Service - as well as handling escalations directly, and went on to manage leadership teams with the company. During my last 5 years with Spectrum, I went on to supervise in all departments that I have worked in. From April 2022 - April 2024, I was the Assistant Manager of the Lafayette Life Policy Services Phone Team (under the Western Southern Enterprise), where my team handled not only live calls as well as callbacks, but also addressing processing issues and escalations day to day. In 2022, we had successfully improved our team's average speed to answer their calls, we had also trained 4 new associates in 2023 - 2024, and have developed multiple improvement projects for the phone team. I was assigned various responsibilities day to day, including analyzing metric data for both individual associate and team goals, resolving escalations, communicating with clients and agents through emails or direct phone calls - as well as committing myself to individual development of my employees. I am excited to continue to learn and develop, starting with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services as of July 2024. I am optimistic to begin this career path, as I continue to show my willingness to learn new skills. With this new career path, I will be able to help others through empathy and fairness, and have a direct influence over an individual's development and wellbeing.
