As deployment lead for BP real time well construction operations monitoring platform I was accountable for overseeing handover of features from Upstream Technology, establishing deployment plans with region stakeholders, securing and managing budgets, and leading a team of business change managers and technical specialists to deploy the technology.I saw it as my responsibility to transition the technology into sustainable use and am proud that I achieved this during my tenure though development of relationships with multiple Wells and Subsurface disciplines to secure their buy in and ownership for the long term.I created the Wells Engineering Self Verification and Contractor Oversight system using Sharepoint and Spotfire, and thus delivered the capability with no new 3rd party license or development costs. I led the creation of Wells Engineering Content on the BP Wiki, including defining an easy to navigate structure aligned to the Discplines.I represented BP at OTC and at the AGM, showcasing digital technology to investors, regulators and other dignitaries.

I was responsible for the project that introduced the first real time well construction data platform to BP.I worked to create relationships with Regions and with Upstream Technology colleagues and I was a key contributor to the envisioning and forming of the $200MM BP Well Advisor project (BPWA). I was seconded to project manage the project to the Select stage, and then led a team of business analysts as modules were developed.I found working as part of the small team to build the first Module very rewarding, particularly as it went on to derive >$250MM in benefits. I value the recognition I received from being named on the patent submission and from receiving an internal award for the work.I co-authored 6 SPE papers discussing digital approaches to challenges facing Wells. I presented on our real-time data test lab at a Digital Energy conference.
