Students work 35 hours a week, in addition to normal school work and volunteering 4+ hours a month.Accomplishments:· Designed, assembled, and created working drawings of drive trains using Autodesk Inventor for two years. The system was specially designed to fit the needs of the robot and the tasks it had to accomplish each year.· Fully assembled the entire robot and each of it's subsystems using Autodesk Inventor for two years.· Designed and prototyped a collection mechanism that would collect gear shaped game pieces and place them onto a spring.· Taught and mentored a group of first year robotics students in creating a fully functional robot in under 1 month time with under 30 hours of design and manufacturing time.
