Mechanical Tie-In And Intergration Superintendent
Current• Responsible for the planning and executing of all the Mechanical and Piping Tie-ins between the existing Operational Plant and Stage 2 Construction. This included:-• Developing and issuing for construction work packs for each Tie-in.• Scheduling Tie-in dates and windows around operations and construction. • Ensuring Contractor executed Tie-ins correctly and safely in allotted timeframe.• Ensuring relevant documentation and MDR’s for tie-ins are submitted to Document control.• Encouraging and maintaining a good level of safety at all times on the project. • Responsible for all integration issues between Operational Plant and Construction Teams site wide including Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Marine and Operational matters. This included:-• Organising/chairing meetings between various players to plan and execute project activities and milestones.• Dealing with day to day interactions and problems between operations and construction.• Conducting Risk Assessments to allow Greenfield Activities in Brownfield areas.• Building relationships with the Client to allow project goals and schedules to be maintained. • Responsible for a multi disciplined team charged with maintenance and preservation of stored and installed mechanical plant and machinery. This included:-• Developing and maintaining an equipment data base.• Procurement of tooling and consumables to perform task.• Day to day organising and running of the maintenance crew including managing safety and man hours.• Developing strategies for equipment maintenance and preservation.
