Reporting directly to Head of Tax Compliance, managing a small team of 4 responsible for the weekly payment and annual reporting of tax due to the US Tax Authority (IRS) in the capacity of a Qualified Intermediary on behalf of 25-30 US Corporations.Reconciling register records to ensure the correct amount of tax is deducted from shareholder’s dividend payments in line with the relevant documentation they have provided.Creating and updating procedures in line with frequent changes in US Tax regulations.Compile and submit US tax reports on behalf of corporate clients.Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts and cash forecasting to ensure the required funds are available to pay tax over to the IRS.Submitting weekly tax payments to the IRS via their FIRE portal.Delivering weekly team meetings and daily huddles.Providing regular training, support, guidance and appraisal of team members to ensure team responsibilities are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time and individuals are developed in or to progress in their career.Service Excellence Champion for the division (made up of 5 teams).
