During the full-time apprenticeship at the trade section of the Consulate, I was an assistant to the trade consul of Poland in Shanghai. My responsibilities combined analytical work and research with going to the field, negotiations and official delegations. Think "Frontline analyst".Below are my accomplishments from that time:• Taking part in 20 trade fairs in Shanghai and Jiangsu, including SIAL, SIFSE, CIIF and Automechanika• Coordinating the activity of the Polish booth at China Import Expo, Kunshan• Assisting top delegations from Poland, including National Centre for Research and Development,GRAAL S.A., provincial governments and heads of major scientific institutes• Conducting business consultation for 25 companies wanting to invest or export to China• Preparing 3 major strategic analyses for presidents of provincial Polish governments and wrote 10 reports on the Chinese market, eg. on Chinese M&A, the matter of free market status at WTO, differences in balance of trade, agriculture in China• Taking part in two Trade Commissioners' Meetings at the Trade Office of the European Union• Creating a method that enabled to speed up the process of posting new trade inquiries onlineby 300% and then used it to fill 25% of the annual inquiry standard in 2 days• Securing over 15 business talks for Polish companies, over half of which resulted in contracts being signed

During my internship at Centrum Usług Serwisowych Polska - a maintenance company, I• Created a proposal for international trade policies, preparing the firm for ISO9001 and ISO14001 audit• Managed customer inquiries, ranging from private enterprises to state-owned steel foundries• Took part in business negotiations with prospective clients• Offered machinery servicing to numerous companies• Helped redesign the marketing program• Tackled business development topics

For 3 consecutive years, I was the chief press officer of ArtCup - a horse riding competition for celebrities.•Managed the press office and the press team for the duration of the event•Wrote official press notes that later hit regional and national news•Provided journalists with required up-to-date news from the tournament•Maintained contact with celebrities and journalists so that the event was heard of in local media•Brought attention of regional and national media to the event so that it gained additional recognition

Summer internship-Analysed European biomass market from business perspective-Was a part of green fuel research team developing gasification instruments-Conducted guided research on green (torrefaction & pyrolysis) technologies-Took active part in tests of syngas generators
