As the surgical technologist in the first scrub role my responsibilities include handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. I also have an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. I possess the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. While in the second scrub role, I assist the surgeon during the operative procedure by carrying out tasks including sponging, suctioning, cutting suture, and holding retractors. In addition to providing assistance within the operating room, other responsibilities and duties include gathering instruments and supplies for the following day's surgical cases to ensure a fast preoperative setup. I also have assigned duties performing decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the surgery center, utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.

Own zone for General Merchandise categories and sales floor in-stocks. Including pushing and stocking product to sales floor. Ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for General Merchandise categories. Execute revisions and sales plans for all General Merchandise categories. Assist all non General Merchandise areas of the store with transition sets and ISM. Conduct weekly price change workload for all General Merchandise categories. Complete RFID scans in GM areas and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy. Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU). Accurately execute all pulls (i.e. daily auto-fills, CAFs, out of stock, EXFs, manuals and guest requests) and back-stock product from General Merchandise categories efficiently and timely.

Responsible for teaching karate classes based on a preset curriculum for every three-month graduation cycle. Recruiting new students using marketing strategies that consisted of passing out business flyers, scheduling appointments over the phone, and visiting with local schools and businesses to promote the karate school. Selling memberships and merchandise to students that were interested in joining the school or if they needed certain items such as training weapons, gear packages, or sparring gear.
