Currently I am working on a project team in which I am responsible for the implementation and adoption of a new merchandise planning & allocation system across the Accent Group corporation. This system replaces the previous program used by buying, planning, and allocating team for stock management. I specifically specialize in the allocation and replenishment components of this role out. From testing to implementation, I partake in the proficient change management of this program. This role is focused on supporting the completion of activities that will contribute to implementing new tools and processes, user acceptance testing and championing the adoption of change. Some of my responsibilities are but not limited to:Testing, implementing, building, and documenting key test scenarios and training materialAssisting to co-ordinate and participate in the user accepting testing process whilst testing any defect fixes found during Go LiveBuilding collaborative relationships with the Planning, Buying and Retail teams.Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate change management workshops and training workshopsCreate planning and development of learning material in addition to coordinating and scheduling learning sessionsFaciliate and support training activities and training various teams across the Accent Group in both Melbourne and Sydney.Monitor and assist team members through Go Live transition, as a dial in support.

PIVOT launched during COVID-19 2020. It is a brand that lives and breathes our love for sport, lifestyle and workwear footwear and apparel. Housing one of the largest ranges of international brands at value prices for families. From Nike and Adidas to Vans and Skechers, to Cat and Hard Yakka. The reason I highlight this is to showcase the sheer volume of brands and stock management required of this role. I manage all stock management, adhering and upholding external and internal brand contracts, stock and sale analysis and national stock allocations for the entirety of the PIVOT brand. This entails upwards of 20 different brands. I was brought on due to my experience in rebuild/launching a new business across Australia, and skill set in the allocation world. On the daily, I am liaising with external brands and discussing stock contracts, seasonal product and range releases, contract time constraints balanced with store and company needs, updating seasonal buy-plans and release weeks, analytical thinking and reporting, data analysis, and more. In 6 months, I have contributed to the opening of 5 stores and with 2 more to come in the next 8 weeks.

I worked for Hanes Australia for 4 years. Working my way up from store level, then transitioning to Head Office as an Allocator. Firstly, with Bonds, and then to Champion. When Hanes Australia acquired and relaunched Champion, I had the amazing opportunity to assist with the building of this brand from a stock allocation perspective. In 2 years, I assisted in opening 14 stores across Australia and have been able to experience stock management in every sense of the word.I had to be quick thinking and detail orientated, gaining vast understanding on inventory and its management along the way being there was little to no data history or demographics built for the brand in the early stages. I collaborated with my Champion team to get the job done and I achieved this by ensuring clear and concise communications whether being to store staff, our distribution centre, management or my buyer and planner. I was also able to shadow my planner and perform assistant planner duties to further develop my knowledge of the Champion market and its target. Champion had not yet created an assistant planner role, so I was able to assist in a quasi-role.Further to the above, all allocators in the business would report to me as well as their category/department manager. I would mentor and train any new allocator/analysts commencing with the business and provide ongoing support and guidance to my colleagues. I was often called upon to assist other departments with complex or complicated matters, and I created training materials for the allocation team, and the implementation of the RMS tool.
