I have been tearing things apart and putting them back together for fun since I was a kid. I have always been fascinated by how things work the way that they do. As I grew older my hobbies and passions continued to change and evolve. At the beginning of high school, I gained a passion for off-road motorcycles. Consequently, I raced harescrambles and enduros. To keep my newfound passion afloat I had to do a great deal of work on my motorcycle despite lacking experience. This led to many instances of learning about mechanisms, mechanical design, and problem solving. The hands-on experiences I had maintaining and repairing my motorcycle drove me to become a mechanical engineer. For the past 7 years I have been fixated on achieving that goal. My passion has continued to grow with each year of school as I learn how many possibilities lay within the realm of mechanical engineering. I hope to one day be an important contributor to an engineering team by developing useful, powerful, and meaningful inventions and products.
