BKBX (Broken Box Mime Theater) is a contemporary physical theater company that tells original stories beyond language barrier. Set to rich lighting and a heart-thumping soundtrack, our narratives range from realistic to metaphorical, heart-wrenching to hilarious, and cinematic to intimate, held together by a dedication to the empowered imagination and the collective artistic voice of our diverse company.Based in NYC and founded in 2011, BKBX is reimagining the medium for contemporary audiences, redefining mime through the lens of US-American theater.

Recent Cutbacks is a community of ensemble-driven creators of theatrical and digital comedy. We fuse humor, nostalgia, and lo-fi spectacle to create imaginative new content.We delight in taking risks.Our projects invite audiences to see the world with a newfound exuberance and remind us why we fell in love with movies, theater, and storytelling in the first place.Our projects include HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS, FLY YOU FOOLS, KEVIN!!!!!, NEXT DAY THRONES, and ZOOMHOG DAY. We have performed in Chicago, Indianapolis, New York, Virginia and other points along the East Coast and the Internet. The company has also taught workshops to all ages at Second City Training Center, Alden Theatre, The PIT and at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

I designed and performed a Foley track for the world premiere of two new audio plays. Mashuq Mushtaq Deen's was set in the wild west so my foley included the western classics - wind, guns, horses, boots, and bullets. The other play by Deb Margolin was set on the NY subway, which I recreated using sheet-metal, a metal box, and vocal sfx.

I designed and recorded a Foley track for three remotely-recorded audio dramas including 'War of the Worlds', 'Sorry, Wrong Number' featuring Marsha Mason, and 'Yours Truly Johnny Dollar' featuring Santino Fontana. I re-created sounds from scratch using household objects such as a cooling rack and spoon as a telephone, tea kettle and wine opener as alien sfx, and lots of different shoes for various characters.

Shotz is a monthly short theater festival produced by AMIOS. From 2011 to 2014, I was involved in every aspect of creative production - writing, directing, designing sound, literary managing, performing, and producing.

Sitters Studio is a babysitting agency that caters to artists. As Artisitters, we were expected to bring creative toys and games to our families in order to give them a uniquely artistic care experience. I had regular families that I was with for years, as well as one-off visits with families all over New York City and from around the world. I gained valuable experience with kids of all ages and temperaments.
