I feel very fortunate to have joined Steele Raymond as a Trainee Solicitor in 2006. In 2008 I qualified into, what was then, the Company Commercial Department and which is now the Corporate Team. In 2013 I joined the Partnership and since 2020 I have been a member of the firm’s Management Board. I was also the firms MLRO from 2018-2023. Since qualifying I have always practiced corporate law and I have specialized in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Most of my work is sell side (but I do also undertake a fair volume of buy side work, including acting for clients who are implanting a “buy and build” strategy) and typically I act for owner managers of SMEs with enterprise values in the £1m - £100m range. My work often has an international dimension and I have acted for clients who have sold to buyers based in Italy, Germany, Ireland, the United States, China, New Zealand and many more. Over the years I have advised on a number of landmark local (and not so local) transactions including the sale of Sunseeker to Dalian Wanda, the LDC backed MBO of Message Direct, the sale of Harvest Fine Foods to BidFood, the sale of the Mayfield / Hampton Decking Group to Epwin Plc, the sale of the Golden Acres Garden Centre Group to Wyevale, the sale of Parvalux Electric Motors to maxonmotor, the sale PDQ Airspares to FDH/Audax, the sale of Rotable Repairs, the sale of the global Challenge Power Transmission Group to Megadyne, and the sale of the Arden Group to Babble.If i can be of any help to you on any corporate or transactional matter please don't hesitate to get in touch.
