Our first application was the Ontario Agriculture Premises Registry which identifies and characterizes all agricultural properties in Ontario. Edscha is a Global Tier One Automotive supplier manufacturing door hinges and convertible tops.First two years at Edsha in the capacity of Manager Information Technology for Canadian Operations with some support for plants based in Mexico.Promoted to Director Information Technology North American Region in April 2002. Played a key roll during the acquisition of the Jackson Automotive Group. The merger effectually doubled the size of the region and the responsibilities of the IT department. The complete incorporation of all systems into the regional network was completed on time, and on budget. We were able to realize synergies in the combined organization and reduce IT support staff by leveraging local regional support contracts. A small group of professionals in Pontiac Michigan effectively managed corporate and divisional systems at six plants spread out in Canada, USA and Mexico with links to Headquarters in Germany.
