About Nick Anderson

Trained Software Engineer (C/C++, C#, Swift, TS/JS), working in the areas of Full Stack Desktop Development, 3D Graphics, AR, UI, UX, Mobile App development, web-based technology and online security. I have worked as a Research Associate for the University of Edinburgh for 13 years, following my graduation in Computer Sciences (BSc Hons). I now work with Artlist UK developing world-leading professional video and image production software.Beyond my technical career I have also taught classical realist drawing and painting for several years and maintain a strong interest in the creative arts and remain open to how technology can assist rather than replace artists in the modern world. I also have a strong interest for retro computing and can often be found digging into antique machines to learn more about the foundations of our modern tech-centered world.
