Deputy Director, Workplace Policy & Compliance (Human Resources)

Coordinated yearly Open Enrollment, 30-day eligibility enrollments, and Qualifying Life Event enrollments.• Successfully rolled out and implemented a new electronic benefits enrollment platform (Ease) allowing employees to elect/waive their options on the portal which in turn reduced paper consumption.• Reconciled billing invoices for the various insurance carriers to ensure accuracy and submit to finance for payment.• Successfully re-designed the New Hire Orientation process to create a more consistent and welcoming onboarding experience.• Provided leadership in the tracking, reporting, and developing of all COVID-19 related protocols and policies in collaboration with the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE).• Organized and hosted two onsite COVID-19 vaccination clinics in partnership with PDPHE for our staff, students, and community. Also partnered with Walmart for onsite flu and COVID-19 booster clinics.• Implemented FREE onsite COVID-19 testing through a partnership with Beechtree Diagnostic which offers a full-service weekly onsite testing opportunity for all staff and students.• Maintained company FMLA policy including advising employees on their rights, processing paperwork, and all necessary tracking.• Worked closely with our authorizing school district in relation to any reports or information needed.• Coordinated with all unit leaders to ensure performance evaluations were completed and submitted in a timely manner.
