- Designed, assembled, and deployed Gen One single axis drain automation for clearing 40 gallons of liquid plant media and debris from hydroponic modules in under 2 mins- Collaborated with controls engineer to incorporate flow, capacitive, and proximity sensors into design- To date Gen One system successfully completed 20K cycles in production environment over 9 months- Took initiative to incorporate learnings and test data from Gen One to miniaturize mechanism by 50% while incorporating feedback from industrial designers on aesthetics- Finalized Gen Two design for initial purchase of 4 units when tenure at Iron Ox ended by mass layoffs

- Identified market need for automating reptile feeding through experience of owning geckos- Prototyped and tested rotary mechanism that held live insects and dispensed them on a timer- Used 3D printing and vacuum forming to build 30 devices for user testing with reptile owners- After Gen One deployment, incorporated user feedback to refine design for production- Joined iVenture Accelerator, filed for LLC and patents while pursuing marketing and funding strategies- Launched, sold, and shipped first production round to reptile owners in 3 countries

- Joined a project team developing a high fidelity bariatric manikin to train nursing students- Designed and built welded articulating “bones” for the manikin’s limbs that achieved realistic motion- Used tubing, a programmable air regulator, and CO2 cartridges to replicate the pulse from a heartbeat in the manikin’s wrist, neck, and ankle- Solved tube kinking problems by using firm core tubing with a soft outer rubber shell- Tested silicone rubbers at varying thicknesses to develop 3 layered formula that simulated human skin- Supported team in implementing three sub-projects into final manikin design
