I’m an entrepreneur, creative director, photographer/videographer, brand / marketing consultant & all around storyteller. For the last 10+ years I’ve worked in creative, marketing & communication roles as a photographer, creative director, brand/marketing consultant, studio owner, music insider, brand rep, content creator, agency owner & now also event producer! www.pausevents.comFrom my start in working in music promotions, to traveling the country collecting & capturing stories of people all over, which then lead me to working for a major brand helping not just sell their products - but their brand - all while shooting lifestyle brand work, endless portraits & weddings in between.I’ve not only been able to capture a wide variety of content, in many different styles, for many different purposes, but helping share the Why & How they’re used to best communicate the message & accomplish the goals at hand. It’s allowed me to stay fresh in how I see things, approach my work, capture my subjects & bring innovative ideas to the table.I’ve had the opportunity of opening a creative studio space, where I was able to cultivate a creative community around. (Unfortunately closed due to Covid)I expanded from photos to videos, creative directing, graphics, web design, branding, marketing & now events. With remaining hands on in everything I do, I’ve been able to operate in not only the details, but helping brands on the big picture & greater vision - helping establish creative direction both in a client’s branding & their marketing.Being able to not only create, but help show strategic ways in how to best use the assets for the greatest impact & clear messaging, it allowed me to move from freelance, into founding a creative + marketing agency - Paus.Operating my business in a relational over simply transactional way, I get to truly connect to my work & feel part of the teams we join alongside, not only working for, but working with, to help see their business succeed & grow. I’m as analytical as I am creative.To many that know me, I’m the idea guy - constantly dreaming, imagining, brainstorming, planning & believing for something always to be better & more beautiful than before. Able to see things in fresh perspectives, I believe that’s gone hand in hand with who I am overall - a storyteller & visionary at heart. I’ve found that to truly be a good storyteller, you need to also be a good story-listener, hearing other people’s perspectives in order to find the best solution & way of communication.Let’s reach your goals & grow together!
