Talent Sourcing Manager

- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialists to create effective recruitment plans driving our mission towards diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Provide weekly training on overall recruitment processes, system training, and sourcing best practices.
- Facilitate negotiating contracts between contingent and retained search firms.
- Plan campus recruitment strategy for each upcoming academic year.
Talent Acquisition Partner
- Maintain a portfolio of departments with a full desk of 70+ positions at all times. Ranging in the job families of Finance, Accounting, Business Operations, Data Science, Research, Student Services, Fundraising.
- Meet with hiring managers to discuss the logistics behind each requisition. Creating a plan to fill each position in a timely manner.
- Work with the internal compensation team to discuss equitable salary recommendations, create equity salary reports when needed.
- Partner with HR Generalists to discuss proper job descriptions and make recommendations on job code selection, adding, and removing requirements.
- Meet weekly with the leaders of multiple departments such a Yale Hospitality, School of Public Health, and Facilities to discuss open requisitions, succession planning, and management of the talent pipeline.
- Deliver job offers and an explanation of benefits to selected candidates.
Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist
- Make recommendations to hiring managers in efforts to minimize time to fill, secure candidates, and provide a high level of customer service to prospective candidates.
- Collaborate with recruiters to develop a close understanding of assigned job families - Development, Finance, Hospitality, Research, Facilities, Communications, and Student Services.
- Develop and implement procedures to aggressively seek qualified candidates via internal and external databases, employee referrals, diversity initiatives, networking, campus recruitment, internet searches, ads and.
- Keep hiring managers apprised of market trend changes and assess competing employers.
- Create complex boolean strings within STARS database to identify qualified candidates.
- Build strong professional relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies and professional associations to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.

- Recruit and identify talent by utilizing job boards, career fairs, networking, social media and professional organizations.
- Track and monitor applicants using multiple applicant tracking systems.
- Interview, skill assess, and reference check candidates with sought after skill sets within Accounting, Finance, Administrative, and Human Resources fields.
- Present customized staffing services and solutions to current and potential clients.
- Deliver, modify, and negotiate job offers between both the candidate and client.
- Weekly outside visit directly with hiring managers such as Human Resource Managers, Accounting Managers, Controllers, and CFO’s to negotiate and develop business with both new and current clients.
