Reporting to the Group CEO, I was responsible for the development of Enero's short and long term strategic roadmap, and oversight of high-priority strategic initiatives. I also worked closely with Enero's portfolio companies to develop their strategic plans. I was a Senior Manager based in Bain's Sydney office. I spent my first 15 months with Bain in our London office, before transferring back to Sydney in November 2018.My projects at Bain focused on strategy development and private equity-led acquisitions. My strategy experience is broad, having covered Corporate Strategy, Commercial Strategy, Product Strategy, Innovation Strategy and Sales GTM Strategy. I have additional project experience in Operating Models, Organisational Effectiveness and major Cost Reduction programmes.I also worked extensively on private equity transactions, supporting our clients to complete due diligence on potential target acquisitions, as well as development of post-acquisition performance improvement plans. I have worked across industry sectors, assessing businesses in Aviation, Retail, Telco, Tech, Consumer Products, Industrials and Health.

During my time as an MBA Summer Associate, I worked on two commercial due diligences in Bain's Private Equity Group.

I was an advisor for early-stage startups seeking to join the global FinTech accelerator, Startupbootcamp FinTech. I ran the sales, evaluation and selection process for the 2015 cohort of startups. This involved sourcing 400+ applications, interviewing the top 80 startups and selecting the top 20 teams for our Selection Days. Of the 10 startups I sourced and we invested in, 7 are still in business and growing, 1 has exited and 2 have shut operations. Between them, they have raised more than US$100M in venture funding since our initial investment. Startupbootcamp FinTech provides funding, mentorship, office space in the heart of London and access to a global network of investors and VCs, for up to 10 selected FinTech startups.Over the 3 month accelerator program, selected startups collaborate with 200+ mentors, partners, and investors to build world class FinTech products, with the ultimate goal of becoming industry leading companies.

Reporting to Executive Director, Business Development, my role was to drive revenue growth by developing new transaction banking client relationships with Australia's largest corporations. I worked in industries such as Retail, Telco/Media, Transport and Financial Institutions, solving complex client requirements with innovative payments and cash management technology solutions.As an Associate Director, I led multimillion dollar deals from inception through to close. This involved developing the initial relationship, requirements gathering and solution structuring, through to pitching, negotiating and implementing the deal.

Short term secondment as a Senior Associate to the Client Advisory Services (CAS) team within Institutional Banking & Markets. CAS is a specialist advisory team which develops capital management strategies for CBA's institutional clients, with a focus on:- equity capital raisings (e.g. IPOs, rights issues, placements);- debt capital raisings (e.g. USPP, A$MTNs, hybrids)- credit ratings advisory- acquisition and bridge financing with cross product takeout strategies;- balance sheet and WACC optimisation; and- strategic peer and industry insights
