I am an Client & Legislative Services Coordinator at Muchmore, Harrington, Smalley Associates (MHSA) providing legislative research and communication support. My role is centered on supporting our clients and lobbyists with their legislative needs, as well as being a communication outlet from MHSA to our clients, executive branch, and administrative offices. Additionally, I author a weekly newsletter which provides clients with on-going political commentary on key issues, as well as election analysis regarding Senate, House and statewide candidates.I also hold a Masters of Science in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, Advanced Academic Programs, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. This program was a part-time Masters of Science which focuses on developing the ability to create actionable insights from diverse sets of data, as well as the communication skills needed to share your knowledge with decision-makers and the public. I completed my Masters of Science while working full-time at MHSA.I serve as the Chair on the Special Days Camp Associate Board. This board is a revenue driven board where I help oversee the different committee's on the board and assist in raising funding for Special Days Camp. Special Days Camp is a children's oncology camp which exists to provide a safe and memorable camping opportunity for children who have experienced cancer and their siblings. Special Days Camp is the second longest running oncology camp in the world. I graduated from Michigan State University’s James Madison College, where I hold a degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. Additionally, I hold a minor in Public Relations through Michigan State’s Communication Arts and Science College.
