Clients can view progress and KPI's through an external website.PHJones gains its competitive advantage through a very low cost operating model with a flexible IT platform and skilled staff allowing it to interact with any client Asset Management system e.g. Orchard/Northgate through to automating excel spreadsheets.The Head of IT role has full end to end responsibility of IT delivered and consumed by the PHJones/BG Social Housing business and as a member of the PHJones Management team, the role is client facing and hands on with Service Desk, Application and Infrastructure departments.Successful UK wide migration from legacy Windows handhelds to android (consumer) tablets, using a new application partner so that engineers can operate regardless of mobile coverage.Supplier negotiations with telecoms (fixed line and mobile), data centre and hardware vendors.Strategic move to cloud IT models to reduce cost, complexity and improve reliability across all departments.Managed a fantastic range of organisational cultures with staff that had been in the organisation when it was a family run small business contrasting with staff that were more recent recruits with a larger organisation history.
