Nick is a proactive Co-founder and Director engaging in the energy industry. A de-carbonisation and sustainability focused professional who champions identifying and unlocking the opportunities enabled by applying today's technology. Nick is a strong advocate of using Australia’s geographic and expansive natural resource position to develop a sustainable pathway to de-carbonisation.A founding director of BE&R, concentrating on consulting services for SSLNG, FSRU, FPSO and FLNG sector developments. In the last year Nick's focus has been on growing BE&R’s small-scale LNG arm, where the BE&R team is delivering low carbon solutions to the marine and resource sectors, helping companies effectively navigate the energy transition and strive towards a net zero economy. Prior to his focus on low carbon energy, Nick gathered ten years’ experience in offshore oil and gas, working on floating production projects. His technical career is based on analytics, interspersed with project engineering and procurement. Nick has been closely involved in newbuild and conversion Floating Production projects at the concept level through to FEED. Conducting hydrodynamic analyses & structural definition as well as supporting a range of clients on commercial strategy, cost estimation & market screening. Nick serves as Chairman on SGMF's Ammonia as a Marine Fuel Working Group. Driving change within the marine industry through collaboration.Nick is a keen supporter of the Energy Club of WA with their Young Professionals initiative, serving on the committee dedicated to re-engaging and growing our graduates within the energy industry. Previously Nick had the pleasure to serve as the Vice Chairman of the West Australian RINA committee, additionally standing as Technical Chair for the organization of the RINA technology stream (Fixed and Floating Offshore Structures) at the 2017 AOG Conference.
