I co-managed day to day business operation at DETAIL 3, a leading provider of architectural services, including managing staffing, budgeting cashflow, business development and, primarily, liaising with clients to seek out solutions and resources to ensure their projects delivered successfully and optimally.During this time I also operated as a consultant, providing roving IT management and support services to the planning & design industry. As the group-wide Manager for Infrastructure, Licensing and Compliance at HASSELL, I was responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure across the organisation, and optimizing it for a greater focus on BIM and its associated software/methodologies. I reported directly to the CIO and senior management of the company. My day to day role included vendor/partner management and contract administration, capacity planning, large scale infrastructure project planning & management, and managing the support of systems and services in all regions. This was a very exciting and rewarding period as HASSELL renewed its focus on design and sustainability and explored new tools/methods for accommodating this.

In my role as ICT Manager for the Victorian region of HASSELL, I was principally managing a small technology team in the daily support of up to 200 local staff and the technical facilitation of the company's award winning architectural practices within the framework of organizational guidelines. I was also an active member of the group-wide technology team during this time, as the company expanded to more than 1200 staff throughout Australia and Asia, contributing to and leading many large scale projects for the implementation of software, services & hardware across the organisation.

I was employed as the IT Manager at Fender Katsalidis Architects while the studio transitioned completely to the use of computer based design tools and adopted 3D parametric design methodologies. I managed and coordinated the business technology services, and supported a number of different business divisions and joint ventures with up to 150 staff in an award winning design practice as they completed numerous iconic projects, this was an incredibly exciting and challenging role.
