My combination of technical education and sales experience give me insight to the benefit of data analysis and subsequent implementation of machine learning techniques. Working for a Fortune 10 telecom company has given me a unique perspective on how quickly data can change the landscape of an industry and the world. Wireless communications have been a driving force behind many technological advancements over the past 20 years, and all of these advancements were made possible by data.My education has given me the tools to harness, clean, process, and present this data. My work background has given me the tools to understand what data is important and how to analyze that data and determine the decision that best maximizes the return for my employer. Utilizing Python, R, Relational and Non-Relational Databases, as well as several visualization packages, I am able to complete the full Data Science Life Cycle and collaborate with my team to find what really matters.My projects include conducting wide-range sentiment analysis on social media data to accurately predict vote placement of 2016 NCAA Heisman Trophy, cluster analysis to accurately classify breast cancer patients based on condition metrics to 95% accuracy, and implementing multiple machine learning models to accurately classify cat vs dog tweets stripped of keyword bias.Technical Skills:- Python, including sci-kit learn, pandas, and numpy packages- R, including dplyr, ggplot2, and microbenchmark packages- Multiple DBMS, including MySQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB- Multiple visualization packages and tools, including Tableau, Python, and R- Machine learning, data mining, and data cleaning
