Senior Heritage Planner
The Senior Heritage Planner is a member of the Cultural Heritage and Urban Design Division within the Development Planning Department. I am responsible for the supervision of Cultural Heritage staff, preparation and review of reports, strategic planning as it relates to the delivery of cultural heritage services, the development of cultural heritage policies, project management of cultural heritage studies and initiatives, identification of revenue sources and grants for cultural heritage initiatives, and the promotion of public interest in the City’s heritage. As the Senior Heritage Planner, I manage the heritage permit process including cultural heritage review of development applications and I am responsible for conducting negotiations with developers and owners of heritage properties.
