For sanitation and infrastructure, I worked as a researcher to create a system to train and verify sanitation worker’s training.I also worked on another government initiative aimed at improving access to higher education for Indian students. Massively Empowering Classrooms (MEC) partners with universities to develop content, test and verify student’s work. Scope of work included:-Developing a scalable system for identifying information access liabilities by analyzing corporate access controls against organizational relationships of teams and individual employees-Creating data visualizations to display potential access liabilities within a company organized by team or project-Redesiging India’s campaign for improved sanitation (Swachh Bharat) to better communicate the campaign’s daily progress and make the employee hub more user-friendly for over 20 languages and dialects-Redesigning the Massively Empowered Classrooms (MEC) website for better flow on the landing page and to solve user experience problems that affected first-time users

Health123 is a health technology startup in Seattle, WA, which helps individuals and companies improve and maintain health to “fill in the gap” between periodic doctor visits. Health123 provides patients with health analysis and suggests daily actions by collecting and monitoring personal health information.Conducted user research and redesigned the initial user experience for mobile and web platforms, which was released in the summer of 2013. Conducted data analysis that resulted in an improvement of the admin tools used for processing user information.

Kodu is a tool to teach children programming concepts using a game-like user interface developed by Microsoft Research for the XBOX and PC platforms. I worked with Microsoft Research in creating the first curriculum and instructing the first courses for elementary schools, in Spring 2009. Subsequently, I authored games and taught numerous courses for various organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club, the Microsoft Store, the Kodu Kamp at Microsoft Research, and various schools and STEM programs. Today Kodu is used by over a million people across 200 different counties. Research in Kodu led to project Spark and an XBOX game title.
