As Area Manager for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. my focus was on distributor management, concise and accurate communication of goals and opportunities, and ensuring a efficient timely and quality route from the brewery to the distributor and on to the market. Highlights from my time as Area Sales Manager include:- Managed 150,000+ case/year distributor, including: inventory control, new product training, monthly MPT meetings, specialty allocations, IRI updates, incentives, quality control, POS, and budget management. - Assisted in training and developing Distributor's On Premise Specialty Beer Team focusing on effective craft beer distribution and coaching on sales techniques and communication.- Executed consumer samplings, events, and educations including annual presentations at Northern Arizona University’s School of Restaurant and Hotel Management.- Worked with National Accounts Team to ensure product placement, review mandates, recap programs and successes, and communicate gaps and opportunities to distributor partners.- 2015 Area Sales Manager of the Year - Southwest
