The last 2 decades have been a glorious journey of discovery for me, spending my time producing or overseeing dozens of series and specials for companies like E! Entertainment Television, BET, A&E, Discovery, GSN, ID, Style and more. My affinity for story-telling and for leading teams allowed me to create shows and specials in formats ranging from entertainment news and specials, to reality docuseries and documentaries, to late-night series and large scale studio competition series. Always an entrepreneur, throughout my career, I invested in real estate and I began helping other industry professionals buy and sell property as well. Desiring even more control over my career, I eventually took the bold move to actually step away from full time TV production in order to launch the successful real estate startup Showpads, with the mission to make booking in-person tours of vacant apartments as easy as ordering an Uber.Still, creating television never took a back seat. My wide-ranging tastes and experience earned me a role as a production executive with BET networks, overseeing the docuseries Home Team, which followed the personal life and career of charismatic NFL all-star Desean Jackson, as well as the network's long-running music competition series Sunday Best.Most recently I developed and produced the pilot for my most innovative project yet. "The Catch" is a high-concept social experiment that capitalizes on the decades-long ubiquity of digital cameras and cell phones, which gives millennials and Gen Xers have easily-accessible images of themselves, practically from birth. The show's unique format asks Singles burning question: can you tell from a suitor's awkward past images and stories, how compatible and physically appealing will you find them today? The results are always fun and surprising."The Catch" is just one, in a trove of compelling, of-the-moment series and formats I am actively developing through my production company Mindfield Productions
