Accomplished over 10 projects over the course of a 10 week internship at Merrimac Industries, a subsidiary of Crane Aerospace and Electronics which produces the MultiMix RF/Microwave Integration Technology. Projects Included:Creating and improving Microsoft Access databases.Writing VBA Macros to expedite data analysis and monitor processes.Implementing statistical process controls and improving capability of over 90 process parameters involved with electroplating and laser direct imaging for printed circuit boards.Improving back to front registration of direct imager.Was also involved with DOEs as well as a Transactional Kaizen.

Assisted in the fabrication, quality control and testing of boron carbide ceramic body armor. Helped operation of powder press, cold isostatic press, grit blaster, and autoclave. Also utilized Archimedes principle for evaluation of porosity for quality control. Evaluated shot armor for bullet depth and overall performance.

Georgia Institute Of Technology

Worked on the development, modification and characterization of high temperature molding materials for end use in the semiconductor packaging industry.Prepared and tested samples using TMA, DSC, 3 point bend testing, and Impedance testing.
