For me, everything starts with ideas and data. I’ve worked with and for plucky start-ups and massive global brands. Now I am distilling this learning to support new ideas and ventures. I love helping people with this challenge.I read and listen actively, ask questions and filter evidence through the sieve of history. I love the process of uncovering patterns and solving puzzles and using them to forecast the future. My first Silicon Valley experience was in high tech, and I have been lucky enough to witness the industry evolve from a quaint sideshow to world conquest. As a leader and practitioner in market insight and strategy, I have been fortunate to engage with almost every major technology brand. The consistent thread has been to improve these brands' understanding of customers and markets. Nothing is perfect, and I am uncomfortable with the status quo. I have always believed that companies should always strive to create better solutions, more relevant positioning, and more useful communications. My successes have included an unbroken track record of growth, in revenue earned, teams developed, or relationships strengthened. I enjoy challenging traditional methods and processes, and adopting new ones, doing whatever it takes to turn the lightbulb on. Made in England and energized in the USA, my experience is global and diverse. Partnerships and collaboration have always worked better for me than conflict and division. And I love history, and it’s lessons, both ancient and modern.
