Hello! I’m Nick Conlan, a sophomore Finance major at Miami University's Farmer School of Business, actively seeking internship opportunities for the summer of 2025. My academic journey is driven by a passion for finance and a desire to gain hands-on experience in real-world business environments. I’ve developed strong analytical skills through coursework involving data analysis, using SQL and Python to deliver insights and propose solutions.Beyond the classroom, I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 284, Wayne Pa, where I honed my leadership skills by planning and leading numerous troop activities, including high adventure trips across the New Mexican desert and Adirondack lakes. As Senior Patrol Leader, I coordinated meetings, outings, and community service projects, fostering teamwork and effective communication among the scouts.Additionally, I worked for two summers at WooHoo in Beach Haven, New Jersey, where I served as a team trainer. In this role, I trained new employees, enforced health and safety protocols, and maintained the technical equipment that ensured smooth operations. I also catered events, which allowed me to develop customer service skills while delivering a memorable experience for clients.I’m excited to bring my leadership, technical, and problem-solving abilities to a finance internship where I can contribute to a dynamic team and continue to grow professionally.
