• Installed and configured the InvestiClaim Fraud & Abuse system on WebSphere, Oracle, Solaris, AIX and Windows platforms.• Developed and Implemented a Production, Failover and DR Business Systems model that allowed WellPoint NextRX to be very flexible during server patching (software and firmware). This also allowed us to meet strict customer demands and government regulations.• Developed and implemented a 3-year plan for hardware and software. This allowed us to be proactive instead of reactive which gave us a flexible stable system and gave us more time to work on the future instead of always trying to fight issues.• Installed, Configured and Maintained new Cisco networks in multiple locations. I lead the first major network upgrade at our pharmacy building replacing an old Nortel network with a new Cisco network. Upon completion of that project our same team went to the Denver location and did the planning to replace the aged Token Ring network with an Ethernet network. These plans included working with the local network support team and facilities to determine what was needed and train them in working with Cisco Ethernet equipment while configuring them to meet their needs. This brought the Denver location in line with current WellPoint standards which helped with overall support of the location.• Setup and Maintain 3 Hitachi Lightning 9960 Storage Arrays on a McDATA SAN including a long distance ASYNC TrueCOPY from Ohio to Virginia using Nishan IPS3300 Channel Extenders. This was the first SAN NextRX had ever seen and opened new opportunities never imagined. This allowed us to have a constantly up to date DR and ultimately allowed for simple migration to a new data center. This also allowed a very expensive once dedicated storage array to be used for multiple applications and creating standards around the way storage and architecture were setup.
