I believe that financial services is a key element to the continued success and prosperity of our society. The FS industry supports so many facets of our society – from helping someone buy a car to get to work, a family buying their home, processing payments to help move money across the economy, to helping businesses invest and grow. Banking is a part of connecting and growing our communities.Core to this continuing is having a well-functioning, trusted financial services industry that is able to innovate and adapt to the future world we will live in and meet the standards the community expects of trusted organisations and custodians of our money.The future of risk management will be more integrated across the business and embedded in the day-to-day activities of teams from product and marketing through to technology, operations and finance. The functional 'siloes' will break down and risk will become a common vernacular in how we do business day to day.I am passionate about helping people tackle risk related problems within their organization and provide confidence of their systems, process, controls and information in a practical, sustainable and agile way. I have been fortunate to lead teams working with a wide range of clients from my time both in Australia and London - from start-ups to large multi-national banks.
